1.Elephant Training Center

One of the most famous places in Konni. It is famous for its 'Aana Kodu' or elephant training camp. Established in 1942, elephants were taken from Mundomuzhi, Mannarapara and other forests in the region. The elephants would then be used for temple services and for hauling lumber. Elephant poaching has been suspended since 1977. The Konni center now has elephants roaming separately from their herds or those injured in danger. It is now one of the best places for family outings, especially for children.

One of the most beautiful places within Konni is Adavi. The Kottavanchi safari is included in the Adavi eco tourism package. During the summer when the water is low, it will be half an hour safari where they will transport KottaVanchi to a small stream of water between thick wood. During the rainy season it is a one-hour safari where it will be a sidewalk and life rafting. It is best to visit in the morning or evening.

3.Bamboo Huts

Amazing Adavi bamboo huts are well-organized to entertain guests. High-rise bamboo huts were built as part of the Adavi Eco Tourism Project Forestry, aimed at attracting tourists who wish to spend the night enjoying the cool desert and the pleasant sound of a flowing river. A large bamboo was built from it years ago on the banks of the Kallar River, near Konni Thannithode Road in the Peruvali Forest which falls under the Konni Forest section. It has five bamboo stripes and a wide dining room hall is built using bamboo company mills. Many tourists, including immigrants, arrive in Adavi to enjoy this unique event. You can also try it.

4. Konni elephant Musuem
The Konni Elephant Museum and Art Gallery, designed to take visitors to the beautiful world of elephants, is gearing up for its hospitality. As the country's government has begun to relax its closure practices, the Konni Forest Division is expecting a tourist restriction to be lifted soon and thus to keep visitors alive. The ivory museum and art gallery were opened to visitors after the renovation on February 16, but had to be closed on April 26 due to the closure. It had seen a daily decline of 800 to 1,200 visitors. The exhibition hall, central hall and audio auditorium are three major sections of the ivory museum. At the entrance, guests are greeted with two spectacular murals costing Rs 7.5 lakh. While one highlights human life with regard to wild elephants, another focuses on humans and captive elephants. Inside the museum, there are small details about elephants, not just from Kerala but from all over the world. “We have to thank the forest department for establishing this amazing museum, which is a valuable source of information about the land of elephants. The museum also has real animal parts such as the skull, teeth, knee joints, chin and lower jaw. Indigenous tools used by the people of Kerala to photograph and control elephants are also evident. The central hall features ancient methods of kidnapping elephants. It also has some interesting pictures of elephants. The audio and video room is one of the most exciting things for children, their favorite activity being listening to the first sounds of more than 30 different creatures such as wildlife, birds, amphibians and insects. At the end of the museum tour, exciting questions about elephants await visitors.
